Indoor Current Transformer LCZ35Q

Current transformers usually consist of a silicon steel ring magnetic core wrapped around multiple coils of copper wire. A conductor carrying a primary current passes through the ring. Thus, the main part of the CT consists of a "turn". The primary winding may be a permanent part of a current transformer, a copper bar that carries current through the core. Window current transformers are also common. They can run a circuit cable through the middle of an iron core opening to provide a single-turn primary winding. To improve accuracy, the main body should be located in the center of the aperture.

Current transformers are used for protection, measurement and control of high voltage substations and power grids. Current transformers can be installed in switchgear or inside equipment enclosures, but free-standing outdoor current transformers are often used. In the switchstation, the housing of the live current transformer is energized mostly at in-line voltage and must be installed on an insulator.

LCZ-35Q outdoor current transformer overview

LCZ-35Q current transformer is a semi-enclosed and insulated castable product, suitable for power systems with rated frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz and rated voltage of 35kV or below, as electric energy measurement, current measurement and relay protection. This product conforms to IEC44-1 and GB1208 "Current transformer".

LCZ-35Q current transformer structure

This type of current intercurrent is a semi-closed pillar structure, the primary winding is poured in epoxy resin, and the secondary winding and iron core are installed outside. LCZ-35Q current transformer is a working condition type product with enhanced external insulation. The LCZ-35G is suitable for switch cabinets with a width of 1.2 meters.
